WordPress is meant to be accessible to all, and that means users of all different levels of expertise. Page Builders (plugins and themes) are a wonderful tool when you don’t have the time or knowledge to code your site to look exactly as you want.
This reviewer probably says it best:
Divi is the KING when it comes to EASY!
Although it has some drawbacks, Divi is probably my favorite page builder (I have some experience with Beaver Builder, X theme, Themify and CMS Masters theme/page builder)
Positives:

- Lots of online tutorials, Facebook pages & groups, 3rd party plugins
- Lots of free layout packs (and plenty great ones for sale!)
Downsides
- It’s shortcode based so sometimes that can be a problem if you want to switch themes or page builders. (not a huge deal if you can simply cut and paste out your content, or use a plugin like Shortcode Cleaner.
- Slows load time – not a lot but a little. It’s a case of too much wonderfulness (not a huge deal if you are sensible with your images, get good hosting and limit server calls, but still it is a factor sometimes)
